Terms

Beta · Version 2026-05-15

Shrubbery is in private beta. A complete terms-of-service document, reviewed by counsel, will replace this one before any public commercial launch or paid offering. The clauses below set the operating posture during the preview period.

Beta software, provided as-is. No service-level agreement. No uptime guarantee. The product can change, regress, or be reset without prior notice during the beta period. Back up anything you would be unhappy to lose.

Eligibility. You must be at least 16 years old to use Shrubbery (per GDPR art. 8). By creating an account you confirm you meet this age requirement.

Acceptable use.Don't use Shrubbery to harass, surveil, or coerce people. Don't spam, scrape, or abuse the system. Don't attempt to bypass authentication or row-level security. Accounts engaged in abuse can be suspended or removed at our discretion.

Your content. You retain ownership of the handshake content you create. By using the product you grant us the minimum operational license needed to store, transmit, and display that content to the intended parties (lead and knight) and to keep it functioning for you.

Beta period & future paid plans. Shrubbery is free during the beta. Paid plans, if introduced, will be announced separately with at least 30 days' notice by email to your account address. You will have the option to migrate, cancel, or export your data during that notice window before any charges apply. Continued use of the service after a notified pricing change means you accept the new plan.

Changes to these terms. We may update these terms over time. Substantive changes trigger a re-acceptance flow on your next sign-in; you will see a summary of what changed and a checkbox to accept the new version. The current effective version is shown at the top of this page.

Liability + jurisdiction. Use is at your own risk. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Disputes are governed by Belgian law and resolved in the courts of Belgium.
